Stepping Stones - Black Jade Bolo Tie
So much of Wyoming's geology was shaped by water that I am always thinking about its influence.
This lovely black, Wyoming jade (cut by Steve Parke), set in sterling silver, is the focal point of this river-inspired piece. The jade is surrounded by silver and 24k gold keum boo river "stones" and silver sand (fine silver dust). There is a red garnet cabochon for accent.
The stones slide on a four-strand kangaroo braid finished with Spanish Ring knots. The weights are sterling silver textured with fine silver dust.
A truly one of a kind, bold bolo tie.
